 Position Overview

As the face of our farm at our local community farmers markets, this role plays a pivotal part in the establishment and maintenance of a diverse range of professional relationships that have the potential to further the success of our mission. This position requires a passion for people, food and agriculture. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time-management, and the ability to work independently are also important.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver’s License
• Access to a working vehicle that has the capacity to transport an easy-up, folding tables, and product crates (only for Los Angeles based applicants)
• A deep knowledge of food safe practices
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or sales
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to stay friendly and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills 
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Passion for regenerative and local food systems and an ability to learn about and share our personal land stewardship practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Physical ability to set up and break down market stalls, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs safely
