This hands-on workshop will help you start or improve your ability to care for chickens, from essential care techniques to integrated permaculture systems that will make the process easier and more rewarding.
Whether you already have your own flock, or are dreaming of starting your own, this comprehensive workshop will equip you with the practical skills and confidence to holistically care for a healthy and happy flock.

Food
A hearty, vegan lunch will be provided. Please bring a water bottle and feel encouraged to bring your own snacks. Try to eat a hearty breakfast to avoid any hunger distractions.

Refund Policy
A 90% refund will be provided upon cancellation if we are notified 1 week in advance (3/29/25 at 9:00am). The 10% not returned accounts for the GoDaddy processing fee as well as our registration fees. We can provide a refund of 50% up until two days before the workshop begins (4/3/25 at 9:00am). However, due to preparation expenses, we are unable to provide a refund if a cancellation occurs within two days before the workshop begins.

As Mama Tree's Animal Systems Supervisor, he oversees our integrated livestock program that works in harmony with our regenerative orchard systems. His engaging teaching style makes complex concepts accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level.
Logan has worked on farms ranging from small homesteads to 900-hectare operations, giving him unique insight into scaling chicken keeping practices for any situation. His Permaculture Design Certification and passion for sustainable animal systems help him teach ethical, effective approaches to raising healthy chickens.
