To celebrate the season of gifting, join us on the farm for a community crafting event of eco-printing socks using locally foraged materials. This is a hands-on crafting experience led by Laura of Ride Or Dye Ojai. Ticket price includes 1 pair of pre-mordanted* cotton socks. If you hope to craft all of your holiday gifts at once, there will be more dye-ready socks and bandanas available for purchase.
For all of your gifting needs, MAMA TREE will have a stand of our regenerative farm-made products available. Ride Or Dye will also have a selection of dyed items for purchase.
*pre-mordanted means the fabric has been treated to receive and hold the natural dyes

Where: Mama Tree is located in Upper Ojai, less than a 15-minute drive from downtown Ojai. Exact address and driving directions will be sent to you upon purchase and registration. Carpooling is encouraged to reduce traffic and wear and tear on the property.
Who: This event is open to adults as well as kids ages 10+ with adult crafting supervision.
What should I wear and bring?: Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Close-toed shoes and long pants are strongly encouraged. Do bring any other items you may need for weather: i.e. sunhat, layers, water bottle, snacks, etc.
A pre-mordanted pair of socks will be provided for each participant. You will be able to purchase up to 4 more additional small dye-ready items to make 5 gifts total.

Weather: The event will continue in the event of light drizzle.
Refund Policy: A 90% refund will be provided upon cancellation if we are notified 1 week in advance (12/7/24). The 10% not returned accounts for the GoDaddy processing fee as well as our registration fees. We can provide a refund of 50% up until two days before the workshop begins (12/12/24). However, due to preparation expenses, we are unable to provide a refund if a cancellation occurs within two days before the workshop begins.
